Teletherapy
Not all small towns have access to pediatric occupational therapy services but adaptABLE OT is hoping to change that. After seeing how high the demand was in Petawawa, I decided to make myself available to Ontario families who require services but do not want to wait on waitlists for publicly funded services and do not have access to private local services. COVID-19 just reinforced how important these virtual services are.
I complete my initial assessment via phone or skype and follow up with a series of videos and teletherapy sessions.
