It is with great pleasure that I share some exciting news with you. Effective immediately, adaptABLE OT has undergone a change in ownership, and we are delighted to announce occupational therapy will now be provided under the umbrella of services that Lavallee Health Center provides.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for entrusting adaptABLE OT with the care of your child. It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since adaptABLE started in my basement on Riverstone Trail! We understand the unique and valuable services that this clinic provides, and we are committed to maintaining and improving the high standard of care that you have come to expect. The well-being of your children remains our top priority.
Lavallee Health Center was founded by Shauna Perry in 2006 and has grown to be one of the largest multidisciplinary clinics in the Ottawa Valley. They currently offer massage therapy, physiotherapy and chiropractic care.
Our vision moving forward is to build upon the foundation of excellence that has been established over the years. You can expect the same level of expertise, compassion, and dedication that you have always received. We are excited to infuse new energy, ideas, and resources into the clinic to enhance the overall experience for you and your children.
A staff member will reach out to current clients to schedule ongoing therapy sessions. Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition; however, we appreciate your patience during this time of change. We are also eager to hear from you about your experiences and suggestions for improvement. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us shape the future of OT in the Ottawa Valley.
As many of you know, our current occupational therapist, Jen Maitland, is gearing up for a year-long maternity leave. We wish her all the best in her new adventure. In her absence we will have two new staff members, Lisa Iannuzziello (Occupational Therapist) and Brittany McMullen (Occupational Therapy Assistant). I will also remain on as part of the team in a mentorship role.

Further information will be available on the Lavallee Health Center website in the coming weeks (lavalleecentre.com). Waitlist clients can rest assured that there is no follow up required on their end, a staff member will be in touch to book an assessment as availability permits.
